Deep Roots Farm Stand – Cabbage
Cabbages have been cultivated in China for 4000 years. It is a staple vegetable in most countries. This long-storing vegetable is a good source of Vitamin C and amino acids. Eat fresh or make healthy sauerkraut from it’s leaves! Crushed eggshells placed around the plant can protect it from slugs and shallow dishes of beer can protect it from earwigs.
